We built Ritual Sauna because we believe people need space to slow down, feel deeply, and connect.This started with a simple question. What would it look like to bring real heat to real people in the places we love?We’re based in Shasta County and serve communities across Northern California and Southern Oregon.
We run every session ourselves and show up fully. It’s personal. It always will be.
How it works

- Drop in to one of our public pop-up sessions.
We keep it simple: Book by the hour. Show up, sweat, chill, and leave better than you came.- Book us privately for your group or event.
Perfect for retreats, parties, wedding events, or team off-sites.You get the full setup for the day - sauna, cold plunge, lounge area, and space to connect. We come to you, set it up, and guide the flow so you can focus on the experience.- Become a member. Monthly access for regulars who want the ritual in their routine. A wood-fired sauna that seats 8 (more if you’re friendly), cold plunge tubs, an shower station, changing area, and space to chill between rounds.It’s all mobile, all outdoors, and built for people who want the good stuff without the pretentious spa vibes.

1. What is Ritual Sauna?
Ritual Sauna is a mobile wood-fired sauna and cold plunge experience that pops up at public events and is available for private bookings.
2. How does it work?
We offer public pop-up sessions and private event rentals. For pop-ups, you can book by the hour. Reserve more time if you’d like to stay longer. Sessions are self-paced: use the sauna and cold plunge however you like, and enjoy space to relax between rounds.
3. What should I bring?
Bring a swimsuit, towel, water bottle, and an open heart. Sandals or flip-flops are helpful for walking around. No shoes inside the sauna. We recommend leaving valuables at home.
4. Is it safe?
Sauna and cold plunge are safe for most healthy people. If you're pregnant or have any medical conditions, please consult your doctor first.
5. What is contrast therapy?
Contrast therapy is the practice of moving between hot and cold exposure, typically a short sauna session followed by a plunge into cold water.
Scientific studies show it can improve circulation [1]. Reduce muscle soreness [2]. And may support mental resilience and mood [3],[4] . Many people also report a deep sense of calm and improved recovery after sessions."

6. Do I need a reservation?
For pop-ups, booking in advance is recommended, though we always welcome walk-ins if space allows. Private events must be reserved ahead of time.
7. How many people fit in the sauna?
Our sauna fits up to 8 comfortably or more if you're friendly and don’t mind a cozy vibe.
8. How long are the sessions?
Pop-up sessions are booked by the hour, and you’re welcome to book multiple hours back-to-back. Private events typically last all day.
9. Do you offer memberships?
Yes. Members get VIP perks, early booking access, exclusive hours, access to invite-only sessions, and member-only discounts.
